This is a very exciting time for our section.
Your Board Of Directors are making a great effort to expand our scope of services to you as members. You will notice advertizements in our newsletter. You and your business can advertize also. We send our members weekly club information as well as quarterly Star-Gazer newsletters.
This year we will be recognized as a Special National event by the MBCA. This weekend we present, EUROPEAN CLASSICS EAST TM and we are being joined by the Connecticut-Westchester Section at Old Westbury Gardens. Our goal is to have over 100 vehicles for you to view. We are including Sprinter vans, the new (12 year old) workhorse imported by Mercedes-Benz under the Freightliner and Dodge badges. We invite your every day driver - Touring car no matter it's age and of course we celebrate our classics that got us the well deserved brand recognition. There will vendors like our friend, Lou Palumbo from Gullwing Motors in Mineola, Ralley Mercedes-Benz and a special visit of Airstream's Interstate RV. As in the past events there will be awards for each entry class and a Raffle. Bring your picnic lunch or lunch will be available on the grounds. Join us for a great fall day. Details will be available in future Star-Gazers and weekly emails.

Presidents Message
What a wonderful summer we have had. Just perfect for driving with the top down or opening up the sun roof. It makes up for the long winter we all went through. It is an exciting time to be a member of our club. I hope many of you had a chance to shine up your Mercedes Benz or just drive it on a country road with no particular destination in mind. Just enjoying the moment.
September is an exciting month for us. Our premiere event is fast approaching and we should have an even more rewarding experience for those that will be attending ECE (formerly Legends). We hope to have your Mercedes Benz at the show. Not only can you share some of your best Mercedes moments with your colleagues but on the field will be our partners Porsche and BMW. We have been working closely with them planning to make this show the largest gathering of Mercedes Benz's, Porsche's and BMW's on the East Coast. Rallye Motors will be there with the latest models the new C class, the all new to America Electric B and possibly an S class coupe. We will have a gourmet food truck where you can purchase your lunch with a special coupon for $10. The coupon must be purchased upon entry. All entrants will receive photos of themselves and their cars. In addition entrants that register in a timely fashion will receive specially designed hats commemorating the event. Also for the first time there will be a Sprinter class, an SUV class and a Preservation class. In addition we hope to have an Airstream motor home at the event. Mercedes has forged an alliance with Airstream. It is an event that you won't want to miss! I hope to see you and your Mercedes Benz at the show.

EUROPEAN CLASSICS EAST TM at Old Westbury Gardens.
This is our premiere event for the year and we wish to expand it to be a major East Coast Event. EUROPEAN CLASSICS EAST TM will be a Special National MBCA Event and hosted by both MBCA NYC-Long Island and CT/Westchester Sections. Representing fine luxury and sports cars by
Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche Clubs, this year we welcome the Sprinter Van and the. We are going all out to create the largest venue for European cars. The grounds are magnificent, and it alone is worth the trip. We had a great turnout last year and expect to surpass our attendance record for 2014. Watch for expanded information to be announced. All hands on deck!!!
