Our Section History -

History of the NYC-Long Island Section, MBCA Origins of the MBCA The Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) was formed in the mid-1950s. Prior to that, in the early 1950s, there were very few Mercedes-Benz automobiles registered in the U.S.—enthusiasts were just starting to organize. Vanderbilt Cup Races In 1955, Dr. Milton J. Allen of Summit, New Jersey petitioned Daimler-Benz (in Stuttgart) for permission to use the Mercedes-Benz trademark for a club.
